Mexico, 1866, Emperor Maximilian (litho), 25c orange, Mexico, district name only, block of 50, full o.g., rich color, central vertical separation crease and thin affecting a few stamps, otherwise Very Fine, these were used to exchange for the demonetized Eagles at the beginning of the issue, only 7,227 were issued, likely the largest multiple, ex-Dormer (1977 Champion of Champions exhibit).

Mexico, 1866, Emperor Maximilian (litho), 50c green, Jalapa, in combination with 1866, Emperor Maximilian (litho), 7c gray lilac + 25c orange, Jalapa, all cons 51-1866, sub 46-1866, on piece tied by Perote boxed date stamp cancel (Schatzkes 633), Very Fine, the 50c is likely unique as NF lists is but with no price, an extraordinary combination from a very small town.
