Postal Card, 1875, 1¢ black on buff, unwatermarked, bearing 2¢ vermilion (178), few perf flaws, canceled by four-ring target along with indicia, matching "Norfolk, Mass., Aug 18" cds to New South Wales, Australia, bold "Held For Postage" circular postmark and pencil "Due 10", message reads "…Please send me a copy of the Illustrated Sydney News in anticipation of visiting the International Exhibition to be held there in 1879-1880…"; some creasing and light soiling, still Very Fine and exceptional foreign mail use.

Postal Card, 1875, 1¢ black on buff, unwatermarked, with an exceptional strike of fancy Negative "North/South" Shaking Hands cancel with Worcester, Mass. cds alongside, 1880 date on reverse, Extremely Fine, certainly one of the finest examples known of this popular cancel; with 2012 P.F. certificate.
