Fr., Brest, 5 Aout, 69" entry date stamp both additionally tying stamp, Very Fine and choice, a rare direct French packet usage, illustrated in M. This Brest datestamp was used from 1865 to 1866 and was applied in Paris only for this later sailing. This was most likely due to the normal "Ligne H" date stamp or the mail agent was not on the St. Laurent.
