Mexico, 1856, First Issue, 8r red lilac, octosect, Zacatecas, bottom right portion of stamp showing partial district name, on fresh folded letter datelined "Sta. Cruz, Julio 3/859" to Zacatecas, tied by perfect strike of Fresnillo boxed date stamp (Schatzkes 1867), Superb, there are very few covers known and this is probably the most pristine, not seen in auction in 20 years, ex-Schatzkes; with 2003 M.E.P.S.I. certificate.
