Newfoundland, 1920, 3¢ on 35¢ red, complete setting of 25 showing partial lower bar variety on positions 14 (121b) and missing lower bar on position 15 (121c), position 24 is raised second "E" of "Three" (121a), F.-V.F. Scott Nos. 130, 130a, 130 var.

Eventually the position 15 partial lower bar would further deteriorate and be entirely missing.

Newfoundland, 1920, 3¢ on 35¢ red, "The Missing Three" error, four stamps comprising used position 16 with partial top bar (121 var.); position 18 with bottom portion of "THREE" visible (121e); position 19 with top portion of "THREE" visible (121d); and position 20 with lower position of NTS of "CENTS" visible; positions 18-19 with o.g., 20 no gum, F.-V.F. and rare group. Scott Nos. 130 var.

On a few blocks, an object came between the letterpress and stamps, resulting in varieties in the fourth row, positions 16, and 18-20 above. There are no copies of the THREE entirely missing - either the bottom is showing (18) or the top (19).
